The theme for this year is “Strengthening Connections and Collaborations in Palliative Care”. We invite everyone including doctors, nurses, allied healthcare professionals, volunteers and staff who work in hospice and palliative care in Malaysia and abroad to come and join us for this Congress.

The Congress will host distinguished figures from across the globe, featuring a keynote address by Dr. Frank Ferris from the American Society of Clinical Oncology, focusing on the theme. Additionally, Dr. M.R. Rajagopal from Pallium India will speak on “Making Healthcare Human.”

The event also boasts a diverse lineup of local and international speakers, including professionals from various fields such as doctors, nurses, pharmacists, allied healthcare practitioners, volunteers, and staff. The talks will cover a wide spectrum of topics, encompassing adult and paediatric palliative care in both hospital and community settings.

It’s a learning opportunity not to be missed. Come register for the event and let’s all build stronger connections and collaborations in palliative care. You are also invited to send abstracts for Poster and Oral Presentations.

It will also give you a chance to meet up with old friends, make new friends and expand your network. If you are a visitor, it is an added pleasure to savour the rich diversity of our food and culture, and enjoy the beauty of Sarawak!
